These pads use the same mold as our standard pads but the procedure and the materials used are different. The mold is first sprayed with a layer of a special urethane that is highly resistant to degeneration from ultra violet sun rays. This is allowed to set, and provides a very tough skin. After the “skin” cures, the mold is then filled the rest of the way with urethane foam to provide a nice cushion to the pads.

This is the absolute best go kart pad available anywhere. If you like to have things looking nice, the extra expense of the HD pad will be money well spent.
