Below is a letter sent out by Douglas Spray, the previous owner of Automated Batting Cages.

Dear Friends,

I would like to thank all valued customers for your confidence and continued support of Automated Batting Cages through the years.  When I purchased ABC in January of 2006 I wrote an article in the newsletter shared by ABC and our sister company J&J Amusements.   In that article I stated that when the original owners decided to retire “the best option was to have someone take over that held the same values and high standards that have made ABC a leader in the commercial batting cage business.  I am committed to maintaining these standards.” 

In January of 2016, I will be semi retiring, and Automated Batting Cages will experience a change of ownership.   In many ways this is a sad time for me, but after 39 years in this industry, I am ready to go out and “smell the roses”.  J&J Amusements will assume ownership of Automated Batting Cages.  As stated in that original article, I believed then and now, that this is the best option.  J&J is an outstanding company that shares the same values as ABC.  I have complete confidence that J&J will not only continue the proud tradition of ABC, but have the personnel and abilities to excel in the batting cage market, plus maintain and even improve the high level of services you all well deserve.

I will remain in a consulting capacity for the next year to insure that this is a smooth transition.  Thank you all again for your loyalty, and please know that ABC, a division of J&J Amusements, will remain available and supportive to all of your batting cage needs.
